Aquaphonics Live @ Aura Music Festival 1/17/10
Aquaphonics started in 2001 as a jam session between original members Alan, Jessiah, and Billy Gilmore. Aquaphonics began playing shows throughout Florida, but shortly after getting off the ground, the group decided to go their separate ways. In 2006, the group rejoined to play a steady run of shows throughout the whole year, but due to other projects, Billy was unable to fully commit to the project. After many jam sessions and long days in the studio, Alan and Jessiah finally joined up with Steve Elmore, a local Treasure Coast musician/songwriter. Steve added a whole new dynamic to the band. Prior to playing with Steve, Aquaphonics was purely an instrumental band, but now you can find them taking on three part harmonies. In late July 2009, the band announced the addition a fourth member, Jim Dinsmore on bass. Aquaphonics is ready to soar to new heights with their all new jazz-electro-soul inspired song writing. Aquaphonics is an act not to be missed!
